Happy day! All is well! The summer is going by too quickly! I cannot believe pioneer day is this week! And again I get to be in the place where ‘Come, Come Ye Saints’ was written, I am grateful I can look to the pioneers and not have to walk so many miles to find the freedoms we enjoy. Even in the crazy world, in the gospel all is well 🙂

We are finding so many people that want to change and learn about the Gospel! We feel so blessed to get to be instruments in God’s hands so fully for a short 18 months. The lesson we taught most this week was the word of wisdom. There are so many blessing that come from really living the commandments and we have seen that solidified over and over again. One day this week after teaching a lesson, our investigator’s friends knocked on the door and you could instantly tell they were…well…not with all of their senses. It strengthened her desire to change seeing the direct consequences of certain choices. Heavenly Father really does have our best interests at heart with all he asks us to do!

Zone Conference was a fun as always getting to see friends. President spoke about the Atonement and every time we study it we will get to know Christ more.

Other than that, we had a busy week of appointments and I am so grateful for that. Sister Brown and I are being so blessed to teach many people here in Dubuque! Thank you for all your prayers!

I love you all!

Sister Despain

Last PS I promise! We are supposed to be on page 165 in the Book of Mormon by the end of today!
